What a landing page should cost in India in 2026

There's a reason someone charges ₹5,000 and someone else charges ₹1,00,000 for what looks like the same thing. The deliverable is different, the process is different, and the outcome is different. This is what you're actually paying for at each level.

Landing page cost in India comparison — template, custom build, and full conversion system pricing tiers

This is the most common question we get from founders in India, and the answer they usually receive is useless: "it depends." It does depend, but on specific things that can be explained, not on vague complexity. After building over 600 landing pages across India, Australia and Germany, we can say the landing page cost in India in 2026 falls into three clear tiers, and each one buys a genuinely different product.

The three price tiers

The Indian market for landing pages breaks cleanly into three bands. That range is what most founders mean when they ask about landing page cost in India, and the gaps between the bands aren't about aesthetics or how pretty the page looks. They're about what decisions get made before the design starts and how much of the conversion work is done for you.

TierPrice rangeWhat you're buying
Template₹3,000 – ₹8,000A layout with your content dropped in
Custom build₹15,000 – ₹40,000A page designed and written for your offer
Conversion system₹60,000 – ₹1,50,000+Diagnosis, copy, design, build, tracking and optimisation

None of these is inherently wrong. The question is which one matches what you're doing with the page.

What ₹5,000 gets you

At this price point you're paying for time, not thinking. A freelancer — usually on Fiverr, Upwork, or a local referral — takes a template from Elementor, Unbounce or Carrd, drops in your logo, your text and your images, and delivers a working page in two to five days. It's the cheapest way to see a landing page cost in India come in under five figures, but it comes with real trade-offs.

What's included:

  • A pre-made template customised with your colours and logo
  • Your existing copy pasted into the sections
  • A contact form or WhatsApp button
  • Basic mobile responsiveness (the template handles it)
  • One or two rounds of revisions

What's not included:

  • Any research into who your buyer is or what makes them act
  • Copywriting — you provide all the words
  • Conversion strategy — the layout follows the template, not a framework
  • Tracking setup — no pixel, no analytics, no way to know if it works
  • Speed optimisation — you get whatever the template delivers

When this is fine: you need a page up fast to test whether an offer has any traction at all. You're spending under ₹10,000/month on ads. The page is temporary and you know it. At this price the page is a placeholder, not a sales tool — and if you treat it as a placeholder, there's nothing wrong with that.

When this is a mistake: you're spending real money driving traffic to it and expecting it to convert. A ₹5,000 page receiving ₹50,000 of monthly ad traffic is the single most common waste of money we see in Indian digital marketing. The page wasn't built to convert that traffic. It was built to exist.

What ₹25,000 gets you

This is the range where you start paying for decisions, not just execution, and it's where the realistic mid-range landing page cost in India for an active campaign usually lands. A competent agency or senior freelancer will ask questions before they design anything: what do you sell, who buys it, why do they hesitate, and what happens after they submit the form.

What's typically included:

  • A discovery call or brief to understand the offer
  • Custom design — not a template, though it may use a page builder
  • Basic copywriting — headlines, subheadings, CTAs written for you
  • Mobile-first design and testing
  • Form or booking integration
  • Basic analytics setup (Google Analytics, maybe a pixel)
  • Two to three revision rounds

What's still missing:

  • Offer positioning — they'll ask what you sell, but they won't tell you whether the offer is strong enough
  • Conversion copywriting as a discipline — the words will be competent but not based on a conversion framework
  • Post-launch optimisation — the page ships and the project is done
  • Integration with your ad campaigns — the page and the ads are separate worlds

When this is right: you have a clear offer, you know your audience, and you need someone to build it properly. You're spending ₹20,000 to ₹80,000 per month on traffic and you need a page that doesn't embarrass the spend. This is the right tier for most businesses that are past the testing phase.

What ₹1,00,000+ gets you

At this level you're not buying a page. You're buying a system — and the page is one output of that system. This is the top end of landing page cost in India, and it prices in diagnosis, not just design. The work starts weeks before anything gets designed, and it doesn't end when the page goes live.

What's typically included:

  • Full offer and audience diagnosis before any work begins
  • Conversion copywriting based on a tested framework — in our case, a 30-point checklist refined across 600+ builds
  • Message approval before design starts — you sign off on the words, then we build around them
  • Custom design and development, phone-first, speed-optimised
  • VSL scripting and shoot direction where video helps the sale
  • Complete tracking: pixel, conversion API, analytics, attribution
  • Integration with your ad campaigns — the page and the ads are built by the same team
  • Post-launch measurement and iteration

The real difference at this tier isn't the deliverable — it's the diagnosis. Before anything gets built, someone examines whether the offer itself is strong enough, whether the audience targeting makes sense, and whether the problem is actually the page or something upstream. We regularly tell clients at this stage that the page isn't the issue and the offer is — and that conversation, uncomfortable as it is, saves them from spending ₹1,00,000 on a beautiful page that converts the same as the ugly one it replaced.

The uncomfortable truth

A weak offer on a ₹1,00,000 page will lose to a strong offer on a ₹5,000 page. Always. The expensive page only wins when the thinking behind it is better, not when the design is prettier. If you're paying premium rates, make sure you're paying for the thinking.

Landing page cost India: which tier you actually need

This is simpler than most agencies make it sound. Ask two questions:

  1. How much are you spending to send people to this page? If under ₹10,000/month — a template is fine, you're still testing. If ₹20,000 to ₹80,000/month — a custom build is the minimum, otherwise your ad spend is subsidising a page that can't do its job. If over ₹1,00,000/month — you need the full system, because a 1% improvement in conversion rate at that spend level pays for the entire build in weeks, a pattern also seen in Google's own marketing benchmarks.
  2. Do you know what's not working, or do you need someone to figure it out? If you know the problem ("my form is too long," "my headline doesn't match the ad") — a custom build at ₹25,000 with specific instructions will get it done. If you don't know — you need diagnosis, and diagnosis only happens at the premium tier.
The page should cost roughly what you'd spend on one to two months of the ad traffic you're sending to it. Less than that, and the page isn't keeping up with the spend. More than that, and the economics are probably wrong.

Red flags at any price

Regardless of what you pay, walk away from any provider who does the following:

  • Shows you the design before asking about your offer. If they haven't asked who buys from you and why, the design is decoration.
  • Doesn't ask what traffic source the page will receive. A page for Meta ads and a page for Google search need different structures. A page built "generically" is optimised for nobody.
  • Can't tell you how they'll measure success. If the answer is "we'll see how it goes" — they have no framework and no accountability.
  • Owns the hosting or the domain. Everything should be in your accounts from day one. If you stop working with them and the page disappears, you were renting, not buying.
  • Promises a conversion rate. Nobody can guarantee a conversion rate without controlling the traffic, the offer and the follow-up. Anyone who promises one is lying or doesn't understand what they're promising.

Common questions

Why is there such a big gap between ₹5,000 and ₹1,00,000?

Because the cheap version skips every step that determines whether the page works, and it's the biggest single driver of landing page cost in India. The template is the easy part. The diagnosis, the copywriting, the framework, the tracking and the iteration are where the value sits — and those steps take senior time, not template time.

Can I start cheap and upgrade later?

Yes, and many businesses should. Build a ₹5,000 page, test the offer with ₹10,000 of ad spend. If the offer gets traction, invest in a proper build. If it doesn't, you saved ₹95,000 learning that the offer needs work, not the page. We cover this decision in our post on whether you need a landing page or a full website.

Do I need a landing page if I already have a website?

Probably yes. A website explains your business to everyone. A landing page converts a specific campaign to a specific audience. They solve different problems, and running ad traffic to your homepage is almost always worse than running it to a dedicated landing page — even if the homepage looks better.

What about Webflow, Framer, or no-code builders?

The tool doesn't matter as much as the process. A page built in Webflow with no offer diagnosis will perform the same as a page built in Elementor with no offer diagnosis. The builder affects the developer's speed and the design ceiling, but it doesn't affect the conversion rate. Focus on who's doing the thinking, not which tool they think in.

How do I know if my current page is underperforming?

Check your conversion rate — the percentage of visitors who take the next step (submit a form, book a call, buy). Below 2% on warm traffic from Meta or Google is almost always a page problem, roughly in line with the benchmarks in HubSpot's conversion rate optimisation guide. Between 2% and 5% means there's room. Above 5% means focus on traffic volume instead. If you don't know your conversion rate, that's the first problem to fix.
