What we collect,
why, and how to
make us delete it.

We've written this in plain language rather than legal padding. If anything here is unclear, email us and we'll explain it — that's a faster route than reading it twice.

Last updated: [DATE]

The short version, in plain English.

This summary isn't legally binding — the full policy below is. But it's accurate, and it covers what most people actually want to know.

  • We collect what you type into our forms, and basic analytics about how you use the site
  • We use it to reply to you, deliver work, and improve the website
  • We don't sell your data. Not to anyone, ever
  • We don't add you to a mailing list because you filled in an enquiry form
  • Third-party tools (analytics, payments, email) process some data on our behalf
  • You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your data at any time

We operate across India, Australia and Germany, which means different data protection laws apply depending on where you are. Section 9 sets out the rights you have in each region.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("LFC Ventures", "we", "us"), a business registered in India with its principal place of business at [FULL ADDRESS].

We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy — meaning we decide what is collected and why. For questions about this policy or about your data, contact [EMAIL].

2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you complete an enquiry form, book a call, buy a service or email us, we collect what you provide. That typically includes:

  • Your name
  • Email address and phone or WhatsApp number
  • Business name and website or landing page URL
  • What you're looking for, your market, and your approximate advertising budget
  • Anything else you choose to write in a message field

Information collected automatically

When you visit this website, some data is collected by default:

  • IP address and approximate location (usually city-level)
  • Browser type, device type and operating system
  • Pages you visited, time spent, and how you arrived here
  • Interaction data such as clicks and scroll depth, where session analytics tools are active

Information from clients during a project

If you become a client, we may be given access to your advertising accounts, analytics, hosting or CRM in order to do the work. We treat anything we see in those systems as confidential, we access only what the project requires, and we return or lose access at the end of the engagement.

What we don't collect

We don't collect payment card details — those go directly to [PAYMENT PROVIDER] and never reach our systems. We don't collect sensitive personal data such as health, biometric, religious or political information, and we ask that you don't send it to us.

3. Why we collect it

PurposeWhat this means in practice
Responding to enquiriesReplying to you, scheduling a call, understanding whether we're a fit
Delivering servicesBuilding pages, running campaigns, deploying agents, invoicing
Improving the websiteUnderstanding which pages work and which lose people
MarketingSending updates — only where you've asked to receive them
Legal and accountingMeeting tax, record-keeping and other statutory obligations

We do not sell your personal data, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing. Filling in an enquiry form does not subscribe you to anything.

4. Our legal basis

Where data protection law requires us to have a lawful basis for processing — most relevantly under the GDPR for visitors in Germany and the wider EU — we rely on the following:

  • Consent — for non-essential cookies, analytics and marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Contract — where processing is necessary to deliver work you've engaged us for.
  • Legitimate interests — for responding to enquiries, securing the site and understanding aggregate usage, where those interests don't override your rights.
  • Legal obligation — where we're required to retain records, for example for tax.

5. Cookies and tracking

Cookies are small files stored on your device. This site uses:

  • Essential cookies — required for the site to function. These can't be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies — set by [ANALYTICS TOOLS] to tell us how the site is used.
  • Advertising cookies — used to measure ad performance and, where relevant, show you ads for our services on other platforms.

You can refuse non-essential cookies through the consent banner, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.

6. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who help us operate, and only what they need. Current categories:

CategoryPurpose
Website hostingServing this website
Analytics[ANALYTICS TOOLS] — understanding site usage
Advertising platformsMeasuring campaign performance
Payments[PAYMENT PROVIDER] — processing transactions
Email and scheduling[EMAIL PLATFORM], [BOOKING TOOL] — replying and booking calls
Professional advisersAccountants and lawyers, where necessary

We may also disclose data where we're legally required to, or to protect our rights, property or safety. If our business is ever sold or restructured, data may transfer as part of that — and this policy would continue to apply.

7. International transfers

We work with clients in India, Australia, Germany and elsewhere, and some of our service providers store data outside your country. Where data leaves the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. You can ask us for details of the safeguards applying to any specific transfer.

8. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don't become projects — up to 24 months, then deleted
  • Client records — for the engagement and as long as statutory record-keeping requires
  • Financial records — as required by Indian tax law
  • Analytics data — per the retention settings of the tools listed above
  • Marketing subscribers — until you unsubscribe

You can ask us to delete your data earlier, and we will unless we're legally required to keep it.

9. Your rights

Your rights depend on where you are. In every case, email [EMAIL] and we'll respond within 30 days. We won't charge you, and we won't treat you differently for asking.

India — DPDP Act 2023

You have the right to access a summary of your personal data and how it's processed, to have inaccurate data corrected or completed, to have data erased where it's no longer needed, to nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf, and to raise a grievance with us before escalating to the Data Protection Board of India.

Germany and the EU — GDPR

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in Germany, the data protection authority of your federal state.

Australia — Privacy Act and APPs

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request correction. If you believe we've mishandled your information, you can complain to us first and then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you're not satisfied with our response.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connections across the site, access limited to people who need it, and reputable providers for hosting, payments and email. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security — but if a breach occurs that's likely to affect your rights, we'll notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

11. Children

Our services are for businesses, and this website isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services, tools or legal obligations change. The date at the top always reflects the current version. Where changes are significant, we'll make that clear on this page rather than quietly editing it.

13. Contact and complaints

For any question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights in section 9, contact us. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can escalate to the relevant authority named in section 9 for your region.
